The project of the first Reach Stacker equipped with twin-booms was the result of a careful study carried out at the end of 70's years and, as a matter of fact, we are the first and the only one company in the world having introduced such innovating configuration.
Of a container are certainly known dimensions and capacity but often the inside load distribution is not uniform and the out of balance position is causing problems in the handling and piling up.
The two booms can be operated in a perfect synchronism or, when necessary, a different position can be given to one from the other, considering that each single boom is able to support the max capacity.
The configuration formed by derricking cylinders and connecting-rods allows the horizontal or vertical motion of containers without changing the booms length: thus the best performance are assured with reduced operating times, great accuracy and soft sequence.
Furtheremore, the cab central position between the two booms having also the possibility of 1-m elevation from the carrier and horizontal travel assures a wide visibility.
The range has been enlarged with single boom Reach Stackers, having remarkable lifting capacity, reduced track and overall dimensions.
As a matter of fact it is able to pile up 5 high in the first and the second row and 4 high in the third row.
In order to assure the best visibility, the cab can be moved horizontally along the frame axles.
